For Painting 2 we are going outside to paint :D but we won't return to it till after spring break, for right now we are starting our interior still life painting.

Book Cover Something Wicked This Way Comes
For our first Illustration 1 assignment we had to design the cover for Life of Pi, Fahrenheit 451, or Something Wicked This Way Comes. I chose Something Wicked, never read any of these (Don't hurt me) but luckily we were able to spark note it cause there was no way I'd be able to read it in time. This is one where I really felt like I saw it all the way through and really took my time early on to solve the problems so when it came time to actually painting, I was able to enjoy it.

For our first assignment for computer illustration we worked in adobe illustrator to create three small spot illustrations. I'm not as familiar with illustrator as photoshop but realize now some of the advantages of illustrator that I could have used in the past.
